الملخص: تتميز النقود الإسلامية المضروبة في مكة المكرمة بأهمية كبرى عن غيرها من النقود الإسلامية الأخرى، وذلك لندرتها الشديدة، وما تتميز به من اشتمالها على العديد من المعلومات المهمة التي تساهم في كشف وتصحيح العديد من المفاهيم التاريخية؛ سواءً ما سُكَ منها بأسماء خلفاء، أو أمراء الدول الإسلامية، أو ما سُكَ منها بأسماء أمراء مكة المحليين، ويتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة والتحليل خمسة دراهم فضية، وفلسا نحاسيا واحدا، جميعها تحمل اسم أمير مكة الأمير مكثر بن عيسى بن فليتة، لم تسبق دراستها من قبل، وتعد أول نقود تظهر لأمراء أسرة الهواشم، وقد تمت دراستها، وربطها بالأحداث التاريخية التي شهدتها مكة المكرمة خلال تلك الفترة. Abstract: Islamic coins minted in Makkah Al-Mukarramah are of great importance from other Islamic coins, due to their extreme rarity, and the fact that they contain many important information that contribute to revealing and correcting many historical concepts, whether they were minted with the names of caliphs or princes of Islamic countries. Or what was minted from it with the names of the local princes of Mecca. This research deals with the study of five silver dirhams and one copper fils bearing the name of the Emir of Mecca, Prince Mukther bin 'Isa bin Fulayta, who have not been studied before. These dirhams and fils are the first coins to appear for the princes of the Al-Hawachim family, and they have been studied and linked to the historical events that took place in Makkah Al-Mukarramah during that period.
