This paper tells the story of the Kom-Ushim Museum, from a site museum displaying archaeological findings discovered in the ancient Greek-Roman city of Kranis to a provincial museum displaying artefacts from various archaeological sites in Fayoum. This paper examines the museum's development stages, from the discovery of the Karanis site to the museum's current situation. Despite the lack of good documentation of the museum's stages of development and the methods of display and collections used at each stage, it can be described through scattered information about the museum and its holdings, as well as information from the staff. This paper aims to present the story from the beginning until now.
