Abstract:
The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of a program in teaching the Arabic language based on the humanistic approach to develop expressive linguistic vocabulary skills among fourth-grade primary school students.The research materials were identified in two lists of areas and skills of expressive linguistic vocabulary, and program based on the use of the humanistic approach. The two measurement tools were the expressive linguistic vocabulary test and the . The research followed the experimental method and designed the two groups:experimental and control. The results of the research reached the effectiveness of the program based on the use of the humanistic approach in developing the expressive linguistic vocabulary skills and among fourth-grade primary school students. The results recommended the need to include in the content of the curricula at the primary stage various activities that develop expressive linguistic skills and the need to train Arabic language teachers before and during service to use modern teaching approaches.
