Design Thinking has become a crucial factor in the competitiveness of design products in various fields of science. It is based on a thorough understanding of the problem and is a process deeply rooted in scientific thinking, with creativity playing a vital role at every step. Design Thinking is a methodical approach to creative problem-solving that starts with the user and culminates in innovative solutions tailored to meet user needs. It involves the application of rational, logical, and critical thinking to generate inventive ideas. The process is structured into stages aimed at achieving specific objectives by organizing ideas, analyzing issues, finding specialized solutions, and studying the designer's thought process to enhance the design process.The research seeks to emphasize the significance of design thinking and its stages as the basis of the design process, enhancing the designer's capacity to develop solutions through logical decision-making. The utilization of mental maps in the design process is highlighted as a technique to reach logical conclusions. The research problem revolves around inquiries regarding the impact of design thinking processes on solving design issues, the adherence of interior designers to these processes, and the enhancement of the design process through considerations of the purpose, audience, and requirements of the design.The study concludes with a survey to evaluate the effectiveness of design procedures and stages in resolving interior design problems.
