Abstract

This research presents a range of different effects of lighting on various aspects of human life, which is currently known as human-centric lighting. It addresses the impact of different wavelengths of light, which represent different color temperatures of light, on brain cells, not just visual effects, and therefore, the biological effects on the human body and human behavior. It emphasizes the need to harness these effects by integrating different spectral wavelengths of light into smart lighting devices, which can now be easily controlled through mobile applications. This is a preliminary step towards envisioning the future design of lighting systems. By considering these factors, it is necessary to leverage the potential benefits of human-centric lighting to enhance overall well-being and create an environment that better aligns with human activities. This opens up new prospects for advancements in lighting technology and its positive impact on every aspect of daily life for individuals with different requirements and physical and psychological needs, thereby promoting a better quality of life for people in the future.
