Abstract

The metal containers of the consumed soft drinks are among the raw materials present in abundance in the surrounding environment, which represents a burden in getting rid of them, as it gives an unaesthetic and uncivilized appearance. If these capabilities are taken advantage of in the work of textile hangings, the researcher expects to produce many new and unfamiliar formations and formulations, and the artist's knowledge of the nature of the material and its properties makes him more able to deal with it and form it in a manner that suits its characteristics.
The recycling of these containers results in a change in the behavior of individuals towards preserving the environment and achieving the principles of sustainable development, as sustainable development is a developmental issue and a human and ethical issue at the same time. Problems related to sustainable development issues have become the focus of the world's attention.
The art of weaving derives its textile raw materials from the environment, such as natural and industrial threads of all kinds, especially any additional materials resulting from the experiences of artists and weavers, which are malleable and play the role of textile threads, due to the specifications they contain that are comparable to the specifications of these threads.
The researcher presents several solutions for the practice of forming metal containers for consumed soft drinks, how to organize and employ them, the appropriate repetition method for them, and how to formulate them in textile hanging.
