While it's true that boxers punch each other and some have tragically lost their lives to injuries sustained during bouts, it's important to note that most of the sport's participants are amateurs rather than professionals. These amateurs are required to wear headgear and thicker gloves, focus on safety, and score points by touching their opponent instead of causing harm. Boxing may be seen by some as a violent form of entertainment, but for those who participate, it's much more than that. It's a test of strength, endurance, and agility, as well as a way to build character and develop discipline. Therefore, we believe that amateur boxing should continue to exist, as it provides individuals with valuable life skills and an opportunity to push themselves to their limits. Those who criticize boxing as a brutal sport are often individuals who have never experienced it firsthand.
