Abstract

Cinematic lenses are the first steps to transfer the optical image to the sensitive surface, as they collect the rays reflected from the scene to be photographed and pass them to the sensitive surface to record the image. And with the technological developments taking place in the world of the lens industry and with the fierce competitions from the different manufacturers of lenses that resulted from differences and developments in transmitting the optical image to the viewer in a way that simulates the natural image that he sees with the natural eye, so the importance of the research is due to the knowledge and study of the director of photography for the criteria and foundations that are chosen for cinematic lenses To achieve and produce the optical image with high efficiency.Where it is not possible for many directors of photography to choose the appropriate lenses to produce a high-quality digital cinematic image
