Abstract

Climate changes and rising temperatures have become an inevitable reality as we have been living through the warming of the Earth at an unprecedented rate. As temperatures rise, so will human activity and health and the resulting economic, social and health impacts. Increased core body temperature and excessive sweating lead to dehydration and many direct or indirect effects on health that may reach death. When the body temperature is above 39 ° C (102 ° F), the effects that affect the function of the central nervous system, such as confusion or loss of consciousness, deadly chronic kidney disease, increases in violent crime and suicides, and the negative effects of basic body temperature rise mean that people may not take preventive action in a timely manner. The specific health effects of work must also be taken into account in international and national standards for protection against heat at work.
The textile sector accounts for 21% of Egypt's industrial sector and, of course, with climate change and unusually high or low temperatures, this has a direct impact on the productivity, capacity and efficiency of workers, reflecting on productivity in terms of quantity (quantity of production) and quantity (quality of production).
