Abstract

Throughout the ages, the world has witnessed many accelerating social and economic events as a result of political conflicts, wars, etc., which in turn have a great impact on countries and generations. Such as the First and Second World Wars, which had a direct impact on changing the direction of international arts and their schools. In addition to the philosophy of societies and the movement of social class coexistence, the culture of consumption that expanded during the postmodern era. Recently, during the first quarter of the twenty-first century, the world witnessed epidemics and wars, which had a major role in influencing the form and tools of contemporary art. The emergence of the Corona epidemic in 2020 AD, and the Ukrainian-Russian war broke out, which prompted the world to reconsider the global economic system. Hence, the research problem arose in an attempt to find technical alternatives that provide innovative tools and solutions to cope with these economic crises. Taking advantage of the artistic practices that followed the Second World War (postmodernism) and the current period of the twenty-first century. The research attempts to compare these two eras to explore a variety of methods involved in the use of the remnants of the consumer society and ready-made media in the postmodern period, and to reveal the extent to which it can provide the contemporary artist with the means through which he can present his own ideas in a way that is more appropriate to the data of the era.
