The pharmaceutical industry faces significant challenges in maintaining human health and safety due to large inventories of expired medications. In low-income countries like Egypt, improper quantity ordering strategies lead to stagnant medications. Improper regulation and careless disposal of expired drugs can undermine sustainability efforts. The convergence of computing and communications has facilitated networking and collaboration, making digital collaboration networking crucial for improving the sustainability of the pharmaceutical supply chain. This paper aims to investigate the role of digital collaboration network on pharmaceutical supply chain sustainability in Aswan, to decrease the overstocking drugs generated from unsold or returning with coordination with different parties to mitigate the negative environmental damages. Researcher used descriptive analysis approach by using survey with 5 point Likert scale with (5 statements) for independent variable and (9 statements) for dependent variable distributed for 300 pharmacies. Research findings provide a practical implications for the pharmaceutical supply chain in Aswan to install and activate the digital communication network in two stages intra-organizational "Intranet" and inter-organizational "Extranet" using internet to enhance electronic information sharing that aids in growing the knowledge database between departments/branches internally and externally between pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies. This can be lead to more sustainability by lowering the amount of transportation and CO2 emissions and increasing the volume of recycled materials in the supply chain rather than disposing of them, lowering the number of pharmaceutical waste returns. We accept the statistical hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between the digital collaboration network and pharmaceutical supply chain sustainability. Paper recommend that set regulations commit pharmacies to place all medicines in the pharmacy on the ERP system to ensure that full information is shared by pharmaceutical companies and that the decision can be taken regarding expired medicines instead of commercial fraud and harm to the environment and society
