Introduction: work related musculoskeletal disorders secondary to faulty posture play an important role in worker productivity, furthermore, Anthropometric measures gives impression about the suitability of such worker to their work-related tasks
Purpose: the study aim to find the correlation between anthropometric characteristics and ergonomics of factory workers at the age of (25-35) years old.
Methods: 290 factory workers at garment production line of both genders were selected and 38 anthropometric measures were measured in addition to hand grip power and assessment of ergonomics at work by RULA scale
Results: The Correlations between anthropometric measures, hand grip power and RULA scale were founded at different levels of relation as strong between hand grip power and forearm circumference, moderate between hand grip power and ankle circumference and weak correlation as founded between RULA and different anthropometric measures.
Conclusion: there was a correlation between anthropometric measures and hand grip power with RULA score.
