هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى الوعي بمفاهيم التربية البيئية لدى طلبة جامعة الشرقية بسلطنة عمان في ضوء أهداف التنمية المستدامة وعلاقته ببعض المتغيرات، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (266) طالباً وطالبة بكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية، ولجمع البيانات قام الباحث بتطوير استبانة وتم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها، حيث تكونت في صورتها النهائية من(26) فقرة. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المتوسطات الحسابية جاءت بدرجة عالية لجميع فقرات الاستبانة من وجهة نظر الطلبة في ضوء متغيرات الدراسة.
وأظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابة عينة الدراسة لمستوى الوعي بمفاهيم التربية البيئية تعزى لمتغير الجنس حيث كانت هذه الفروق لصالح الإناث.
كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابة عينة الدراسة لمستوى الوعي بمفاهيم التربية البيئية لدى طلبة كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية تعزى لمتغير مكان السكن، كما أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابة عينة الدراسة لمستوى الوعي بمفاهيم التربية البيئية تعزى لمتغير السنة الدراسية.
كما أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابة عينة الدراسة لمستوى الوعي بمفاهيم التربية البيئية تعزى لمتغير التقدير (المعدل التراكمي).
وفي ضوء النتائج خلصت الدراسة إلى العديد من التوصيات أبرزها زيادة الوعي بمفاهيم التربية البيئية لدى طلبة جامعة الشرقية، واستحداث مقرر خاص بالتربية البيئية كمقرر اختياري لمساعدة الطلبة على زيادة الوعي لديهم في هذا المجال، وتضمين مفاهيم التربية البيئية في بعض المقررات الخاصة في كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بجامعة الشرقية بسلطنة عمان.
This study aimed to reveal the level of awareness of environmental education concepts among students at A'Sharqiyah University in the Sultanate of Oman in light of the sustainable development goals and its relationship to some variables. The study sample consisted of (266) male and female students at the College of Arts and Human Sciences. To collect data, the researcher developed a questionnaire, and it was confirmed that Its validity and reliability, as the questionnaire in its final form consisted of (26) items. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic averages were high for all questionnaire items from the students' point of view in light of the study variables.
The study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages among the study sample members for the study sample's response to the level of awareness of environmental education concepts among students of the College of Arts and Human Sciences A'Sharqiyah University due to the gender variable, as these differences were in favor of females.
The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of the study sample's response to the level of awareness of environmental education concepts among students of the College of Arts and Human Sciences A'Sharqiyah University due to the variable of place of residence. The study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of the study sample's response. The level of awareness of environmental education concepts among students of the College of Arts and Human Sciences A'Sharqiyah University is attributed to the variable of academic year.

In light of the results, the study concluded with many recommendations, most notably increasing awareness of environmental education concepts among students at A'Sharqiyah University, creating a special course on environmental education as an optional course to help students increase their awareness in this field, and including environmental education concepts in some special courses in the College of Arts and Human Sciences.
