هدف البحث الحالي إلى تحديد أثر نمط المناقشات الالكترونية (موجهة- حرة)  في تنمية مهارات الطلاقة الشفوية لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة  الوادي الجديد. وتحددت عينة البحث من (60) طالبة من طالبات الصف الاول الثانوي بمدرسة نجيب الثانوية بنات بمحافظة الوادي الجديد  وتم تقسيم العينة إلى مجموعتين تجريبيتين تكونت كل مجموعه من (30) طالبة –المجموعة الأولى يدرسون بنمط المناقشة الموجهة، والمجموعة الثانية يدرسون بنمط المناقسة االحرة، وتضمنت أدوات البحث الآتي: مقياس التقدير اللفظي لاداء مهارات الطلاقة الشفوية (إعدادالباحثة)،. وأسفرت نتائج البحث عن وجود أثر لنمط المناقشات الالكترونية (موجهة- حرة) في تنمية مهارات الطلاقة الشفوية لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة  الوادي الجديد لصالح المناقشة الموجهة.
The current research aimed to determine the effectiveness of electronic discussions (directed - free) on the development of oral fluency skills among secondary school students in New Valley Governorate. The research sample was determined from (60) female students from the first year of secondary school at Najib Secondary School for Girls in the New Valley Governorate, and the sample was divided into two experimental groups, each group consisted of (30) students - the first group studying in the style of directed discussion, and the second group studying in the style of free competition, and the research tools included the following: Verbal assessment scale for the performance of oral fluency skills (prepared by the researcher). The results of the research resulted in an effect of the pattern of electronic discussions (directed - free) in the development of oral fluency skills among secondary school students in the New Valley Governorate in favor of the directed discussion.
