هدف هذا البحث إلى قياس فاعلية برنامج قائم على نظرية تجهيز المعلومات لتحسين بعض مهارات الذاكرة البصرية للأطفال ضعاف السمع، وتكونت عينة البحث من مجموعة واحدة قوامها (5) أطفال من ضعاف السمع، تراوحت أعمارهم الزمنية بين (3- 5) سنة، ولديهم فقدان سمعي يتراوح بين(40- 70) ديسبل، ودرجة ذكائهم بين (90- 95) درجة، وتمثلت أدوات البحث في مقياس مهارات الذاكرة البصرية (إعداد الباحث)، وتم تطبيق البرنامج القائم على نظرية تجهيز المعلومات على مدار(20) جلسة، وذلك على مدى (7) أسابيع تقريبًا بواقع (3) جلسات أسبوعيًا، وأسفرت نتائج البحث عن فاعلية البرنامج القائم على نظرية تجهيز المعلومات فى تنمية مهارات الذاكرة البصرية للأطفال ضعاف السمع، وكذا استمرارية فاعليته في القياس التتبعي، وقد أوصى البحث بضرورة الاهتمام بتحسين مهارات الذاكرة البصرية للأطفال ضعاف السمع. The aim of this research was to measure the effectiveness of a program based on information processing theory to improve some visual memory skills of hard-of-hearing children. The sample consisted of one group of (5) hard-of-hearing children. Their ages ranged from (3 - 5) years, and they have a hearing loss ranging from (40-70) decibels, and the degree of their intelligence between (90 - 95) degrees. The research instrument was the scale of visual memory skills (researcher's preparation). The application of the program based on information processing theory took (20) sessions, over a period of approximately (7) weeks, with (3) sessions per week. The results of the research revealed the effectiveness of the program based on information processing theory in developing visual memory skills of hard-of-hearing children, as well as the continuity of its effectiveness in follow-up measurement. The research recommended the importance of improving visual memory skills of hard-of-hearing children.
