The study aimed to monitor the most important developments in Arab and foreign intellectual production on the subject of the paper book in light of the new trends based on artificial intelligence, due to the technological boom in recent years and the increasing emergence of artificial intelligence applications. The study followed the method of scientific review to present and document intellectual production, and to identify the increasing challenges faced by paper books in light of digital transformation technologies, integrating the results of previous studies, summarizing these results, comparing them and comparing them to each other, and using statistical methods in this summary to conduct bibliometric analyzes of previous studies, by compiling the intellectual production on the subject and performing the objective, temporal, qualitative and linguistic analysis of these studies to identify the general or common results reached by previous studies. The current study is also a representation of the point of view of library specialists and practitioners, especially since they are the people most affected by technical applications. The results of this study concluded that the book is a tool for preserving, protecting and transferring information. For later generations, it is man's first tool for acquiring knowledge and investing in information. Books are also very necessary for obtaining knowledge and using information in its correct place.
