Abstract

The main objective of the study is to reveal the impact of the Egyptian ministries' websites on the Internet using information measurements. The study relied on the webometric approach. One of the most important results of the study is that the ages of the Egyptian ministries' websites ranged between twenty-four years and three months. The website of the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad is The oldest Egyptian ministries' websites; It was established in 1998 AD, and the most recent one is the website of the Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism. It was established three months ago, and the website of the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad ranked first in terms of the number of incoming links to it, with 22,984 incoming links, while the Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism website ranked last with 965 incoming links, and that the Ministry of Supply and Foreign Trade website It is the most present website of the ministries on the web according to the overall impact factor with an impact factor of 3.5, and in the second place came the website of the Ministry of Justice with an impact factor of 2.8, then the website of the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad came in the third place; Where he obtained an impact factor of 2.5, then the website of the Ministry of Environment came last with an impact factor of 1.1.
