Abstract

The study ob)octnes determined knowledge degree of agricultu. rat journal °dims about : fundsmenta's and functions of Agricultural journal editing. the characteristics needed lot the journal editors and in-novations in the Agricultural )carnal editing 1103 and also determining the attitude degree of inlorviewees towards the Agricultural journal edit‌ing work. Besides determining the relationship between knowledge de‌gree about the preceding variables and attitude degree with the studied independent variables. Also determining the participation degree of each ot the stunted independent variables having correlation relationship for each or the promentionod knoinedge and attitude degrees. This study was tamed out in fen governmental locations *flamed to the Agricultural sector aria working in the field ol journal ending in Cairo. Giza and some of the lower Egypt governorates, whereas a sample of interviewees were chosen randomly from 253 agricultural editors working in them. The sample size amounted to 110 interviewees with Percentage amounting to about 43.5 percent Where in each of 010111 the condition of working a nentmurn of three years should exist. The in. terviewees wore chosen randomly from each location with the same pre‌rnenboned percentage. Personal interview questionnaire was minted lot data collection of the study from agricultural journal edam through December 2000 until mad of January 2001. For presenting and analyzing collected data : ta‌blas. simple correlation coolfigent. Chi?. Pni coefficient step-wise multi. pie regression and correlation fectinklue. average. standard deviation and average degree. frequencies and gereenteges statistical criteria were hi-Mod. The study roveacd the most important knowing results 1. Percentase of thoSe rot knowing journal editing fundamentals of the 'ntorviewoes ranged between 40 to 82.7 percents for various studied fundamentals. 2. Percentage of these not knowing functions of agricultural journal edit‌ing reached degree between weak and average amounted to about 67.3 dement of the sampto size. 3.
