The research aims to study the current situation of agricultural labor by studying the most important indicators related to labor at the national and agricultural levels, studying national and agricultural labor wages, national and agricultural investments, and agricultural income, and estimating the seasonal index of agricultural labor in addition to estimating the demand function for agricultural human labor during the period (2000- 2021) The results of the research indicate an increase in both the human labor force, the employed and the unemployed at the national level and in the agricultural sector, with an increase in wages at the national and agricultural levels, the agricultural domestic product, agricultural investments, and income. As it was revealed from estimating the seasonal index of agricultural labor, there was a deficit in agricultural labor in the period from November to May, while there was a surplus in the period from June to October during the study period, and by estimating the demand function for agricultural human labor, it was revealed that the variables most influential on the number of agricultural workers are Agricultural investments, the wage of the agricultural worker, and the interest rate on agricultural loans. Among these, the research recommended increasing job opportunities in the agricultural sector by raising the technical competence and training of the worker, and paying attention to small projects to provide work and a fixed income for the worker, while directing agricultural investments to reclaim land, which increases the number of workers and reduces the unemployed.
