Abstract

Revision of the genus Sphecodes Latreille provides a great assisĀ­tance in the identification of the parasitic group of the family Halictidae. Seven Egyptian species of this genus are revised. Each laxon is provided with synonyms, description, hosts and distribution. A key to species is also presented. Male genitalia of six species are illustrated.
