الملخص
يتناول هذا البحث " تصوير نبات السلفيوم في قوريني من العصر الارخي وحتى العصر الهلينيستي" حيث يعتبر هذا النبات من النباتات الطبية المهمة التي ظهرت في أقليم قوريني، بلغت شهرة النبات مكانة لم يصلها أي نبات من قبل، فكان السلفيوم ذا قيمة عالية جدا في الإقليم، فهو سلعة اقتصادية مهمة كانت سبباً في الثراء الاقتصادي الذي عاشه الاقليم، لذلك أصبح النبات سلعة احتكارية من قبل الدولة والحكام، فكان يشرف عليه الحاكم بالإضافة إلى أن تجارته خضعت للوائح الصارمة، وانعكست هذه الأهمية على الفن بصورة مباشرة، فكانت صورة النبات هي الشعار الرئيسي لعملة قوريني لفترة طويلة، حيث تعتبر العملات هي أكثر الفنون التي ظهر عليها النبات جنباً إلى جنب مع الفنون الأخرى.
Abstract:
This paper deals with 'Imaging the Silphium Plant in Cyrene from the Archaic Period to the Hellenistic Era', where this plant is considered one of the important medicinal plants that appeared in the region of Cyrene. Therefore, the plant became a commodity for the state and the rulers. It was supervised by the ruler. In addition to that, his trade was subject to strict regulations, and this importance was directly reflected in art, so the image of the plant was the main emblem of the coins of Cyrene for a long time when coins were considered the best example to appear on the plant along with other arts.
