Background: Telogen effluvium (TE) is a scalp condition characterised by hair shedding that is diffuse and does not leave scars. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a microaerophilic gram-negative bacterium that colonises the gastric mucosa and is found in around 50% of the global population.
