Evidently , the usage of the previously mentioned technology
aims basically at developing the performance of criminal justice institutions as it shall enable these institutions to record testimonies

of witnesses without any need of their physical presence in the court
. Moreover , the usage of this technology provides criminal justice institutions with a technique to initiate remote trials against defendants who are already settled abroad or those who are settled in penal institutions .
