استطاعت مصر أن تخطو خطوات مهمة نحو التحول الرقمي، فقد أصبح الإنترنت نافذة واسعة يطل منها الجميع على العالم بأكمله، وفي ظل الأزمات تكون الحاجة إلى التحول الرقمي مطلبا حيويا، وقد كشف ذلك في الآونة الأخيرة، ومع أزمة كورونا (Covid19) أصبحت الحاجة الى التحول الرقمي ضرورة لتخطي الآثار الناجمة عن تلك الأزمة، هذا ويتضح من تحليل مؤشر الحكومة الإلكترونية وما توصلت اليه دراستنا أن مصر قطعت شوطا مهما بإنجاز الأعمال الحكومية بطريقة الكترونية، وتوفير خدماتها عبر الانترنت للدوائر الحكومية والشركات والأفراد، فضلا عن التحديات والقيود التي فرضتها الازمات وعلى رأسها جائحة كورونا التي وضعت الحكومات أمام تبني خيار الحكومة الرقمية كخيار استراتيجي يؤمن استمرارية توفير الخدمات للمواطنين ومساهما أساسيا في ترشيد الإدارة العامة وتوطيد مفاهيم الشفافية في عمل هذه الإدارات. Abstract: Egypt has been able to take important steps towards digital transformation, as the Internet has become a wide window from which everyone overlooks the entire world, and in light of crises the need for digital transformation is a vital requirement, and this has been revealed recently and with the Corona crisis (Covid19) the need for digital transformation has become It is evident from the analysis of the e-government index and the findings of our study that Egypt has come an important way by completing government work in an electronic way, and providing its services via the Internet to government departments, companies and individuals, yet Egypt still faces challenges related to multiple factors such as Limited resources, lack of digital infrastructure, insufficient capabilities, data privacy and cybersecurity.
