Abstract

Treatment options for malignancies of the urinary system have improved with the introduction of nanotechnology and nanomaterials. Drug delivery vehicles can be employed with nanoparticles. On malignant cells, several nanoparticles have inherent therapeutic properties. Clinicians are concerned about malignant tumors with a high degree of medication resistance and poor patient prognosis. Treatment outcomes may be enhanced by using nanomaterials and related technologies to combat malignancies of the urinary system. Many advancements have been achieved recently in the use of nanomaterials to treat malignancies of bladder cancer. The treatment of bladder cancer has evolved by the developing science of nanomedicine. Nanomedicine offers a promising path towards enhancing the BC therapy through minimizing the major adverse effects, boosting tumor inhibition and overcoming the resistance associated with the conventional neoplastic medication. This review offers fresh suggestions for further research on nanotechnologies in this area and covers the most recent findings on the application of nanomaterials in the diagnosis and management of malignancies of bladder cancer.
