Abstract

Probably ‘Le Petit Prince', is considered the best-selling book in the world. The values of this work are valid to this day. In any case, the protagonist of the universal message is the emblem of a spirituality that seeks the essence of things and that gives meaning and pleasure to life. The narrative was the object of various literary studies, but rarely a semiotic study of the colors was carried out.  Obviously, the author's subjectivity to the choice of colors is unavoidable, but what does it refer to? How to explain this choice of colors? As part of semiology, we try to decipher the meaning and impact of colors on the message that St Exupéry wanted to convey.
