This research comes within the framework of comparative interpretive studies of a verse from Surat Yusuf, peace be upon him, which is the twenty-fourth verse of the Noble Surah, which is the Almighty's saying: “(And she certainly desired him, and he would have desired her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. Thus did We avert from him evil and indecency. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants. 24) I proceeded in this research according to the descriptive and inductive approaches: and they were employed through a number of methodological procedures Represented in collecting the different sayings of the interpreters on the meaning of the verse, with attributing each saying to the one who said it, and defining the point of dispute between them, then discussing the opinions that were said in interpreting the verse in a scientific discussion, arriving at the selection of the first opinions that are acceptable in meaning. I have concluded this research with a number of results, the most important of which is the great value of the comparative interpretive study, and its role in arriving at the most likely interpretive sayings for the Qur'anic verses.
