Five susceptible pregnant dams of each of sheep and goats were vaccinated with PPR-attenuated vaccine, 50 to 60 days pre-partum. They, as wellas, their offsprings remained clinically healthy.Post-partum serum PPR neutralizing antibody ti-tes were generally lower than pre-partum peak ti-des in all animals. PPR antibody titres in the co-kstum of these animals wpreciably higher than in their sera, throughout a‘st period of 48 hours post-partum. Reasonable “rum titres of passively acquired PPR antibodies “ere fairly existing in the offsprings of both an Such antibodies persisted for 3ith some individual variations. Themajorit'y of the offsprings reverted to SeronegativY by the 5th month of age.
