Abstract

Experimentally chemically induced arthritis was performed using single intra articular injection of amphotericin B in left radiocarpal joint of 2 horses and 5 donkeys. These animals were divided into 5 groups to discuss the therapeutic value of different concentrations of Dimethyl sulfoxide the effect of 40% dimethyl sulfoxide on different stages of chemically induced arthritis. It reported the use of Dimethyl sulfoxide 40% for three successive weeks after one week was the best concentration for treatment of that condition. Dimethyl sulfoxide 40% was mainly effective in the treatment of degenerative Stage.
