Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral program for psychological and behavioral disorders and modifying social concepts for a sample of juvenile prisoners. The study concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the pre-application and the post-application of the sample of the pilot study of a cognitive-behavioral program for treating behavioral and psychological disorders and modifying social concepts in favor of the follow-up application. There were statistically significant differences between the pre-application and the post-application of the sample of the pilot study of a cognitive-behavioral program for treating behavioral disorders. There were statistically significant differences between the pre-application and the post-application for the sample of the pilot study of a cognitive-behavioral program to treat behavioral and psychological disorders and the modification of social concepts in favor of the post-application. There were statistically significant differences between the control group and the experimental group for the treatment of behavioral and psychological disorders and modifying social concepts in favor of the experimental group. The most important recommendations that the researcher recommends is that this cognitive-behavioral program be implemented in both government schools, underage prisons, and youth centers, and training social workers in juvenile homes and penal institutions on how to implement cognitive-behavioral programs while providing the necessary tools to strengthen the role of penal institutions in modifying behaviors.
