The research aims to analyze and study the role of monetary policy in combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as monetary policy maintains the integrity and stability of the financial system, and reduce the damage caused by money laundering and terrorist financing operations, and monetary policy also works to reduce criminal activities that would undermine the stability of the financial sector and the national economy, so the control operations Appropriate, for the safety of the conditions of financial institutions in order to achieve unified control.

This will be proved by relying on some methodological procedures (inductive method, deductive method, descriptive analytical method), to study and analyze the tools of monetary policy and the results that resulted from that policy in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing through some indicators during the period (2010-2020), in order to reach the positive effects of monetary policy tools in reducing money laundering and terrorist financing.

The research has reached the following results:
