This study aimed to reveal the nature of the relationship between emotional intelligence and death anxiety in a sample of patients with kidney failure, as well as to study the differences in emotional intelligence and death anxiety in a sample of patients with kidney failure. They were mixed (35 urban environments - 35 random environments - 35 rural environments) whose ages ranged between (40-50) years, with an average age of (49,800) and a standard deviation of (5,671). Qalyubia, and the study relied on the comparative descriptive approach, and several tools were used to verify the validity of the hypotheses of this study, namely: the primary data form (prepared by: the researcher), and it was applied to the sample in order to control some variables that may affect the results of the study, and it was used The death anxiety scale for adults (prepared by the researcher), which consists of four dimensions (sleep disorders - physiological effects - fear of the unknown - fear of greening) and the emotional intelligence scale for adults which consists of four dimensions (self-regulation - social skills management - self-awareness - Management of emotions and sentiments) (prepared by: the researcher), and the intelligence test of the colored progressive matrices of Raven for intelligence (Emad Hassan, 2020) to exclude individuals whose level of intelligence is below the average, to calculate the equivalence between the urban environment, the rural environment, and the random environment. Results: The results indicated that there was a statistically significant negative correlation between the scores of the study sample of adults with kidney failure on the emotional intelligence scale for adults and the death anxiety scale for adults, and there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of adults with kidney failure in the environments (urban, rural and random) on the emotional intelligence scale. For adults, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of adults with renal failure towards the urban environment compared to the rural and random environment.
