THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE METHODS OF COEXISTENCE OF THE RELEASED FEMALE DEBTORS (CASE STUDY)

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the quality of life and its relationship to the methods of coexistence of the released female debtors,The research sample consisted of (10) cases of female debtors who were released through the Misr Al-Khair Association and the Presidential Pardon,The current research belongs to the descriptive research that aims to describe and analyze the phenomenon under study using the case study method by applying the case study guide to them,This is to monitor the quality of life and its relationship to the methods of coexistence of these women in debt, and to identify the difficulties they face after their release from prison. The case study guide included some of the items under study and came as follows: primary data, crime pattern, punishment period, length of stay in prison, motives for crime, repercussions of imprisonment on the family and children, society's attitude towards female respondents, and vision for the future,The researcher used the following theories (Maslow's theory of human needs, pattern theory, stigma theory, Robert Merton's theory of anomie,The research reached several results, namely that the increase in family requirements, the high educational burdens of sons and daughters of marriage age, and youth unemployment even after completing their studies and spending on basic needs and high prices led to families resorting to borrowing, especially that there are associations and banks that facilitate the borrowing process and people who exploit the poor in the name of financial assistance, but it is in fact personal interests,That the woman resorted to debt in an effort to achieve family stability as one of the ways to marry girls or improve the standard of living and quality of life, but due to lack of income or lack of stable income, she was unable to repay the debts and was subjected to legal accountability. Most of the cases confirmed that they saw what they did not see Before inside the prisons the treatment of the rest of the prisoners, most of whom came in the crimes of murder, theft, prostitution, etc., and we find that most of them learned a lot from this consequence, and this became a disgrace to them and affected their psychological state greatly.
