Abstract

A pot experiment was set on to study effect of rapeseeds exposure to gamma rays (G) before sowing at different doses of (0, 50, 100, and 200 gGry) on NPK uptake by yield of turnip plant fertilized by different levels of humic acid fertilizer (H) named (0%, 50%, 100% and 150%). P and K applied in the form of normal super-phosphate and potassium sulphate as a basal Single dose. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design in three replicates. Results revealed that, in leaves and roots, the highest values observed in the pot received rate of (G50 + H50), relatively increased by about, 184.38% and 206.69% over control treatments, respectively. the highest values of N-uptake by leaves were 406.34 mg N pot-1 followed by 262.95 mg Npot-1.Also NPK uptake by leaves and roots of turnip plants were observed in the pots received rates of (G50 + H50) and (G200 + H50), respectively.
