The research aimed to determine the degree of social intelligence of the subjects, the degree of their confrontation with life pressures, and to test the significance of the relationship between the degree of social intelligence of the subjects and the degree of their confrontation with life pressures. Three centers were chosen randomly from the Sharkia Governorate, which were Faqus, Belbeis, and Kafr Saqr, then one village was chosen randomly from each center, which were the villages of Al-Areen, Al-Kafr Al-Qadeem, and Abu Tawawala, respectively. The size of the research sample was 357 respondents, and data was collected using a questionnaire by interview. Personally, during the months of April and May 2023.
The most important results were as follows:
- Two-thirds of the female respondents (67.2%) have an average level of social intelligence, and more than three-fifths (62.5%) of them have an average level of coping with life pressures.
- There is a significant relationship between the overall social intelligence of the female respondents and the degree of their coping with life pressures in general, and the value of the simple correlation coefficient (Pearson) was 0.411.
