Abstract

A system of fifth order boundary value problems associated with obstacle, unilateral and
contact problems is solved using sextic spline. The results are compared with the method developed
by Ghazala and Siddiqi [1] and it has been observed that the method developed in this paper is better than quartic spline method. Two examples are considered for the numerical illustration of the
method developed and the results are encouraging.
