Abstract

A seewing needle was found in the pericardium of a young male who was taken for emergency surgery with severe
biventricular dysfunction due pericarditis, was successfully managed using TEE, meticulous anaesthesia technique and
postoperative management leading to smooth and early recovery of the patient.
