The study traces the development of Arabic calligraphy through the ages, highlighting the influences of social and political contexts on its formation .It also demonstrates how Arabic calligraphy serves as an expression of cultural and religious identity.
The research concludes that the philosophy of organicism in Islamic art and Arabic calligraphy not only reflects aesthetic values but also demonstrates how art can serve as a means to enhance identity and belonging. This concept is manifested through decorative and geometric patterns that reflect unity and harmony in designs . The study also focuses on how artists use botanical and geometric shapes to create organic designs that combine repetition and symmetry, while highlighting the spiritual and aesthetic aspects of these arts.
