Abstract

Lumpy skin disease virus (LSDV) was isolated from skin biopsies collected from clinically
diseased cattle at El-Fayoum governorate. The virus isolated on the chorioallantoic membrane of Embryonated chicken egg (ECE) and propagated on cell culture of MDBK cells followed by conventional PCR assay.
