Abstract

This research focuses on the publication of the gazelle stela from Wadi Hammamat, known as Stela No. 110. The stela comprises three registers: the first register contains a text consisting of one horizontal line and six vertical lines; the second register features a depiction of the king standing before the god Min; and the third register consists of five horizontal lines. The research provides a detailed description of the scenes depicted on the stela and offers translations of the hieroglyphic texts along with commentary. These texts narrate a miraculous event that occurred during the reign of King Mentuhotep IV. In the scene, we witness the king's gratitude toward God for the success of his mission, led by his vizier Amenemhat. Notably, the text highlights the king's prestigious titles at its conclusion, including 'Hereditary Prince,' 'Vizier,' 'Overseer of the City,' and 'Overseer of Everything in the Entire Land.
