Abstract

Ancient Egyptians have known the metal industry since ancient times, extracting and forming and making various tools, and when Christianity entered Egypt, it invested those inherited industrial methods in the manufacture of high-value church tools, including lighting tools represented by the candles and lamps, the Luxor Museum retains a collection of bronze lamp stands, which were found in the sphinx road, and these stands reveal that this area witnessed a church building in which these facilities were supplied Precious items, the most important of which are lighting tools that can be attributed to the 5 -7 century AD, according to comparison with the remaining examples of this type, industry style, decoration and materials.
