Abstract

Egypt’s presidency of the ninth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the UNCAC over the past two years was

not an easy process. The conference was held under difficult circumstances in the face of unprecedented challenges,

including the Coronavirus pandemic, which spread in the whole world leaving unprecedented economic and social

consequences. This was followed by a number of international and regional variables and crises. However, the Egyptian

insistence on success was the secret behind adopting a large number of great resolutions and holding many activities

as well as providing solutions to many problems during this period.
