Minister Hassan Abdel-Shafi announces approval of the report of the Conference Ninth

Session In the concluding session of the proceedings of the last day of the Conference of the State

Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El Sheikh, the Conference,

chaired by Minister Hassan Abdel-Shafi, approved the report of the Ninth Session;

it also approved eight resolutions including Sharm El Sheikh Declaration submitted by the

Arab Republic of Egypt on the enhancement of international cooperation in combating and

preventing corruption during emergency, crisis management and recovery. Two (2) procedural

decisions were approved, including an agreement regarding the hosting countries of

the Conference Tenth Session.
