Cities around the world are witnessing unprecedented growth that brings both opportunities and risks to individuals, institutions, and governments. This growth requires efforts to be exerted by all parties to build smarter and more resilient cities. Cities suffer from many risks due to both natural disasters and man-made catastrophes.
