Urban spaces play an important role in shaping public human activities, which makes their design and use of colors very important. Human activities within the urban space may be affected by the colors used to form the space's determinants. The research aims to identify the relationship between colors and human activities in the space of Carrera 48, Rionegro, Colombia as a case study. The research relies on the inductive approach represented in the induction of scientific references related to color science and urban space design science and the effect of colors on human activity in the space and the analysis of the data resulting from the induction to produce standards or measurement rulers. By applying these standards to the space of Carrera 48, Rionegro, Colombia, the relationship between the use of colors in shaping the urban space and the activities practiced in it can be identified. The study concluded that there is no inevitable relationship between the nature of color and the nature of the activity in the space of Carrera 48, Rionegro, Colombia, but it succeeded in giving the space visual diversity and aesthetic pleasure. It should be noted that the research addressed the subject through determinants that do not allow reaching conclusive results in this regard, as other non-color factors such as the proportions of coordination elements and the proportions of solid and hollow in the vertical space determinants and others may play a role in influencing the nature of the activity. تلعب الفراغات الحضرية دوراً هاماً فى صياغة الأنشطة الإنسانية العامة مما يجعل من تصميمها وإستخدام الألوان بها أهمية بالغة، فقد تتأثر الأنشطة الإنسانية داخل الفراغ الحضرى بالألوان المستخدمة فى تشكيل محددات الفراغ. يهدف البحث الى التعرف على العلاقة بين الألوان والأنشطة الإنسانية فى فراغ كاريرا 48، ريونجرو، كولمبيا كحالة دراسة، يعتمد البحث على المنهج الإستقرائى متمثلا فى إستقراء المراجع العلمية الخاصة بعلم الألوان وعلم تصميم الفراغ الحضري وأثر الألوان على النشاط الإنسانى فى الفراغ وتحليل البيانات الناتجة من الإستقراء لإنتاج معايير أو مساطر قياس، ومن خلال تطبيق هذه المعايير على فراغ كاريرا 48، ريونجرو، كولمبيا يمكن التعرف على العلاقة بين إستخدام الألوان فى تشكيل الفراغ الحضرى والأنشطة الممارسة فيه. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود علاقة حتمية بين طبيعة اللون وطبيعة النشاط فى فراغ كاريرا 48، ريونجرو، كولمبيا ولكنها نجحت فى إكساب الفراغ تنوعاً بصرياً ومتعة جمالية ويجب ملاحظة أن البحث تناول الموضوع من خلال محددات لا تسمح بالوصول إلى نتائج حاسمة فى هذا الشأن فقد تلعب عوامل اخرى غير لونية مثل نسب عناصر التنسيق ونسب المصمت والمفرغ فى محددات الفراغ الرأسية وغير ذلك دوراً فى التأثير على طبيعة النشاط.
