يضطلع البحث ببيان الدور الذي تقوم به مقاصد الشريعة في حماية المجتمع والحفاظ على استقراره، وذلک من خلال حرصها، وحفظها، وحياطتها لمصالح الدين والدنيا على حدٍ سواء، وأن هذه المصالح مبنية على المحافظة على الأمور الخمسة: النفس، والدين، والعرض، والعقل، والمال. وقد استعرض الباحث عدة نماذج من السيرة النبوية الزکية للتدليل على إمکانية تحقيق الاستقرار المجتمعي، مع توضيح الدور الذي قامت به المقاصد الشريعة في تحقيق ذلک الاستقرار من خلال النماذج المعروضة.
The research undertakes to explain the role that the purposes of Shariah   in protecting society and maintaining its stability, through its concern, preservation, and protection for the interests of both religion and this world, and that these interests are based on preserving the five things: self, religion, honor, mind, and money .The researcher reviewed several models from the prophetic biography of the Prophet to demonstrate the possibility of achieving social stability, while clarifying the role played by the purposes of Shariah in achieving that stability through the models presented.
