This approach addresses an aesthetic phenomenon in El- Mutanabi'spoetry, that is the' Shift
technique, showing the most important structural and grammatical transformations that occurs on the
ordinary language and makes it shift to poetic language which affects the audience. This is an altempt to
link this phenomenon to what's new in the field of modern stylistic stidies, that consider this shifte ' as on
of the most important standards that distinguishes the potic language from the ordinary one. This
