Abstract

This theoretical study aimed to identify the extent to which the Internet of Things and big data can be used in the development of the current education system in Egypt, by answering some questions about what the Internet of Things?, The difference between it and the normal Internet and its potential or benefits and negatives, and the challenges facing What is the big data and what services can it provide to the education sector and the challenges and fears that might hinder its use? The results of this study have shown that the Internet of things and big data will occur and without exaggerating the revolution in education, big data and analysis will enable us to personalize education or individualization of education, because every student needs a system of education if we want to really develop education, it is unfair to teach the teacher all students in the class the same way, and also assess them with one test with individual differences between them. Therefore, in order to take into account the individual differences between learners, the educational system needs large data pertaining to each individual student, in order to analyze and identify the key to the personality of each student, from which the teacher enters the student to provide him with all the needs that help him to learn. Therefore, the study recommended the following: The State should equip the electronic infrastructure necessary to equip a strong and fast Internet to withstand the pressure resulting from the connection of a large number of devices to the Internet, with attention to the preparation of some intensive courses open source, ie, online (MOOCs) Massive Open Online Courses, which all work on Radically changing the way of access to teaching and learning, which generates a huge amount of data related to big data analytics. The era of cloud computing and mobile opens many opportunities to revolutionize education, directing the scientific research sector in Egypt universities and research centers and other towards carrying out research projects on the Internet of things and big data and data analysis.
