Children's participation in hostilities has recently been noted to have spread between active and direct participation in hostilities and providing indirect assistance to combatants, such as transferring weapons and ammunition, exploration, reconnaissance, and other illegal assistance, all of which are flagrant violations of rights of children. The following parts discuss this in detail: -Part one: children's protection from participation in armed disputes according to provisions of international humanitarian law. -Part Two: children's protection from participation in armed disputes according to provisions of international human rights law. -Part Three:  children's protection from participation in armed disputes according to conventions of the African continent. تلاحظ في الآونة الأخيرة انتشار ظاهرة مشاركة الأطفال في العمليات العدائية، والتي قد تتراوح بين مشاركة فعلية مباشرة في أعمال القتال وبين تقديم مساعدة غير مباشرة إلى المقاتلين مثل: نقل الأسلحة والذخائر، وأعمال الاستكشاف، والاستطلاع وغيرها من أعمال المساعدة غير القانونية، والتي تمثل مخالفات صارخة لانتهاك حقوق الأطفال ونستعرض ذلك في المباحث الآتية : المبحث الأول: حماية الأطفال من المشاركة في النزاعات المسلحة وفقًا لأحكام القانون الدولي الإنساني. المبحث الثاني: حماية الأطفال من المشاركة فى النزاعات المسلحة وفقًا لأحكام القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان . المبحث الثالث: حماية الأطفال من المشاركة في النزاعات المسلحة وفقًا لاتفاقيات القارة الإفريقية.
