There is no doubt that the fatwa (a formal ruling or interpretation on a point of Islamic law given by a qualified legal scholar) is related to the interest of religion and the world and its protection is preserved for them. Recently, some people dared to issue a fatwa based on some texts that they memorized without following the rules of scientific methods of Fatwa. These approaches that scholars have developed to protect religion and the world. Thus, I chose to write in the scientific methods of Fatwa to explain the rules set by scientists and to apply these rules on some contemporary issues. With the combination of the rules and controls laid down by our scholars in the past, with the rules required by the developments of the age and time, and the people's need at a time of epidemic and affliction.
This research examines the fatwa, the characteristics of the Mufti (Islamic Legal scholar), and the stages that the fatwa goes through with a presentation of some fatwas issued by the Egyptian Dar al-Ifta in light of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) as a practical implementation of scientific methods of the Fatwa.
مما لاشك فيه أنّ الفتوى يتعلق بها مصلحة الدين والدنيا وفي حمايتها حفظ لهما، وفي هذه الفترة من الزمن تجرأ بعض الناس على الفتوى اعتمادًا على بعض النصوص التي يحفظونها دون اتباع قواعد المنهج العلمي للفتوى، هذا المنهج الذي وضعه العلماء لحماية الدين والدنيا؛ لذا اخترت أن أكتب في المنهج العلمي لبيان القواعد التي وضعها العلماء وتنزيل هذه القواعد على واقعنا المعاصر، مع الجمع بين ما وضعه علماؤنا من قواعد وضوابط في الماضي وبين القواعد التي تتطلبها مستجدات العصر والوقت وحاجة الناس في وقت الوباء والابتلاء. ويفحص هذا البحث الفتوى وصفات المفتي، والمراحل التي تمر بها الفتوى مع عرض لبعض الفتاوى المتعلقة بالنوازل ومنها الفتاوى المعاصرة والتي صدرت عن دار الإفتاء المصرية  في ظل وباء فيروس كورونا (covid-19) كتطبيق عملي للمنهج العلمي للفتوى، أعددت لها مطلباً خاصًا في آخر البحث.
